New cool Google service: Goolge Local

Goolge Local is a new service that looks promising, though still in beta. It gives you the possibility of finding something (e.g. a shop) near a certain location. Together with the result it displays a map with the location of the results. Try it out with a search for “toshiba service” near “san francisco”.

Unfortunately it only works for US locations, as far as I can see. Hopefully it will get out of beta and allow non-US local searches.
