I actually didn't realize that it was looking <em>so</em> bad in IE, as I did the changes in a hurry and didn't have the time to check how it looked in non-Firefox browser (i.e. in browsers other than my own). I have made some changes and it seems to work better now. The worse part was finding that it was actually a 'width:740px;' attribute in the top navigation bar which was making the sidebar disappear. I have fixed it using an image as background. IE's quirks drive you nuts. :| Gracias, Pixel!

I actually didn’t realize that it was looking so bad in IE, as I did the changes in a hurry and didn’t have the time to check how it looked in non-Firefox browser (i.e. in browsers other than my own).

I have made some changes and it seems to work better now. The worse part was finding that it was actually a ‘width:740px;’ attribute in the top navigation bar which was making the sidebar disappear. I have fixed it using an image as background.
