Ballmer: Well in general, the answer is: Google, Google, Google, Google, Google.

Confirmed (again): Ballmer is not worried about competitors building better stuff than Microsoft; he is just worried about Google, no matter what Google does.

Talk about obsessions. Ballmer (and, by extension, Microsoft) seems to be firmly planted on an also-ran mindset. Time and again, people find ways to make their worst nightmares come true. Scott Adams is right when affirming a sort of quantum-mechanical nature of life: your expectations do really come a long way into configuring the world you experience.
