⭐⭐
This felt like a superficial read to me. It also is stereotypical middle-upper class American in its worldview, in ways that didn’t really resonate with me.
On the positive side, the book is friendly and humorous in its tone, which makes it an easy read. The authors give practical advice, like “get a hobby” or “find your passion” or “set an intention”.
Compared to The Middle Passage (the other “midlife crisis” book I’ve read recently), this book is an easier read and contains more actionable advice, but I also found it less relatable and less inspiring.
