Book Notes: Seven Surrenders

Seven Surrenders, the second book in the Terra Ignota series, continues right where Too Like the Lightning left off. It is the second part of Mycroft’s “History” and details the second half of the investigation that brings to light the cost at which world peace has been achieved.

World tensions escalate. There are riots, an assassination, a resurrection, and a suicide. We see more political intrigue, and more textured details about the world and its workings. The pace picks up alongside the action.
