Bump your PowerBook to skip to the next song
Yeah, that’s right: move your laptop and it will feel it. PowerBooks (and some ThinkPads too, apparently) have a sudden motion sensor that is used to protect the hard drive in case of violent movement such as dropping the computer. This sensor returns accurate data to the OS and creative hackers have already written some programs that make use of this function. Bumptunes is a Python script that enables you to control iTunes by literally bumping the laptop. Bubblegym is a tilt-sensitive game.
