Safe software from Microsoft, once again

Not only does SP2 clash with popular programs, but important security holes have been found in it hours after the update was released for home users. The bugs make it possible for an attacker to install arbitrary executables on a user’s machine. Microsoft doesn’t plan to work on this bug in the near future because they “do not consider this to be a high risk for customers”, as the bugs are not being exploited by malicious hackers (yet)
